Nearly three years after breaking ground, the new UF Health Neuromedicine Hospital and the UF Health Heart & Vascular Hospital opened their doors to patients on Sunday, Dec. 10. In about six hours, our care teams transferred 139 patients to the new spaces, providing patients with access to the Southeast’s most advanced home for heart and vascular and neuromedicine care. Thanks go out to all of the UF Health faculty, residents, staff and volunteers who helped make this complicated mission a success.
